It has been a very variable year for grow your own, most plants have not enjoyed the weather extremes, but there have still been some good crops, many of which have now been eaten and enjoyed! So why not start to plan ahead and get some autumn planting vegetable plants. they'll fill the gaps in the beds, and provide some tasty meals from spring onwards next year?
I've just launched my 'Winter Thru' Spring Collection' which includes several varieties of winter lettuce, cauliflower, cabbage, purple sprouting broccoli, onion sets, shallots and garlic. Seriously delicious potential! All can be ordered from here, just click on Grow Your Own or the picture of the carrots, then on tthe composite winter veg image, and you can see exactly what I've chosen. The plants will, of course, come with emails from me, this time sent monthly and, as with the summer crops, packed full of advice, tips, and maybe even a recipe or two!
It's a great way to plug the veg gap!
